Pulse UltraLight: your questions answered

How light is the Pulse UltraLight?

It is one of our two lightest chairs at just 19 kg without the battery, on a foldable aluminium frame. Folded, it measures 44 × 58 × 72 cm.

Is the battery removable?

Yes. The 24V 10Ah lithium-ion battery is removable, so you can charge it separately and lift the chair more easily. It gives up to 15 km per charge.

Will the tyres ever go flat?

No. Both the front and rear tyres are puncture-free (non-pneumatic), so there are no punctures and no air checks.

How do I control the speed?

The joystick has five speed settings, up to a top speed of 6 km/h, and electromagnetic brakes stop the chair as soon as you let go.

Can I take it on a flight?

It is IATA compliant. The battery is 24V 10Ah (240 Wh). Each airline makes its own final decision on mobility devices, so please check with your airline before you fly.

Is the frame made of carbon fibre?

No. The carbon-fibre look on this chair is a hydro-dipped colour finish. The frame itself is aluminium, which keeps it light and strong.

What is the maximum user weight?

It supports users up to 120 kg, with a 42 × 42 cm seat that adapts to your movements for lasting support.

What warranty do I get?

Every Pulse wheelchair comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the frame, motor and electrical parts. See our Warranty Policy for full details.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is free across India and usually takes 3–5 business days, depending on your PIN code.
