Frequently asked questions

How much weight can they carry?
All three Heavy Duty models have a sturdy steel frame and support users up to 140 kg.
How far can they go on a single charge?
All three use a large 24V 20Ah battery and are rated for up to 15 km per charge, at a top speed of 6 km/h.
Which model can recline?
The Pulse HomeCare Recliner reclines up to 160° at the touch of a remote and has a headrest, so it suits users who sit for long hours or need to rest during the day.
Can it be pushed by hand?
Yes, the Pulse DualDrive has large 23" rear wheels, so the user or a carer can push it by hand, and its dual 250 W motors take over whenever you want powered driving.
Are they heavy to lift?
They weigh 31–39 kg without the battery, so lifting into a car usually needs two people. All three have an X-fold design for storage.
Are the frames made of carbon fibre?
No. Most Pulse chairs have a light aluminium frame, and the heavy-duty models and SlimFold use a sturdy steel frame. The carbon-fibre look on some models is a hydro-dipped colour finish.
What warranty do Pulse wheelchairs come with?
Every Pulse wheelchair comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the frame, motor and electrical parts. See our Warranty Policy page for full details.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is free across India and usually takes 3–5 business days, depending on your PIN code.
