Frequently asked questions
How much do these wheelchairs weigh?
The Pulse UltraLight and Pulse MiniLite weigh just 19 kg each, and the Pulse SlimFold weighs 25 kg. All weights are without the battery.
Which one is best for small homes?
The Pulse MiniLite is only 78 cm long, the most compact chair in our range. The Pulse SlimFold folds to just 38 cm wide, so it stores easily in a narrow space.
How far can they go on a single charge?
All three are rated for up to 15 km per charge, at a top speed of 6 km/h. The SlimFold uses twin lithium-ion batteries.
How much weight can they carry?
All three support users up to 120 kg.
Are the frames made of carbon fibre?
No. Most Pulse chairs have a light aluminium frame, and the heavy-duty models and SlimFold use a sturdy steel frame. The carbon-fibre look on some models is a hydro-dipped colour finish.
What warranty do Pulse wheelchairs come with?
Every Pulse wheelchair comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the frame, motor and electrical parts. See our Warranty Policy page for full details.
How long does delivery take?
